I obtained my Bachelor of Arts and Sciences with a Major in Social Work from San Diego State. My passion is "helping others to help themselves."

As a social worker I was interested in Community building and inspiring individuals to help others as well as themelves.

My Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology was obtained at National University. I have experience in Individual, couple and family counseling with all ages and walks of life.

I have a wealth of experience working with children and teens. I have worked as a social worker/case manager at Hoover High School Health and Social Services Center, a school-based health center. In that capacity I have dealt with just about any issue one could name. I have dealt with grief, gang involved youth, suicidal ideation and attempt, to name a few.

I am trained in Critical Incident Stress Management and served as a crisis counselor for San Diego City Schools.
